Dow Jones compliance specialist is quick off the mark as industry wastes no time in registering for ICE London
?The one show of the year that everyone really gears up for, and the one that exhibitors, visitors and organisers really push the boat out for?, is how Marc Temple, Dow Jones, AML Compliance Specialist - Gaming, one of the first professionals to register for this year's ICE London, explained his early decision to attend the industry's biggest and most international gaming technology event. Organisers Clarion Gaming reported an immediate spike in traffic to icelondon.uk.com within minutes of registration for the 2019 edition going live (5?7 February, ExCeL London, UK).

Expanding on his decision to register five months prior to the event, Temple said: ?There is always a fantastic energy at ICE London, which is why people keep coming back and what makes it the show that it is. This will be my fifth year being part of ICE London. It's a key opportunity to network with existing industry contacts, as well as meet new people from other regions,? he continued. ?From a business perspective, it gives me the opportunity to represent Dow Jones and help to maintain our position as the market leader for AML (anti money laundering) and Enhanced Due Diligence services to this industry. From a personal perspective, both the contacts and the knowledge I acquire from conversations at ICE London are invaluable."

Discussing the trends likely to be evident at ICE London, he continued: ?With new jurisdictions opening up and US Sports Betting being so topical, it is the perfect opportunity to connect with relevant stakeholders within the space. Looking ahead, I think M&A activity will continue to shape the industry as we know it, for better or worse! Partnerships between European suppliers and US operators, such as casinos and racetracks, represent a massive opportunity for the development of 'across the pond' relationships. I'm not sticking my neck out when I say that ICE London is the arena in which all of the big decisions and strategies impacting the international industry are debated and, in many cases, where they are decided.?

ICE London is international gaming's most successful business event, having recorded its seventh consecutive year of growth in 2018 when an independently audited attendance of 33,536 made the journey to London from 153 countries. Key growth areas at ICE London 2018 included North America (+33 percent increase in visitors), Africa (+23 percent) and South East Asia (+18 percent). Visitor density also grew, with the average number of visitors per stand registering an annual uplift of +17 percent.
