Gentoo Media Chief Executive Officer, Jonas Warrer, explains how iGB Affiliate helps the brand to reconnect with partners, forge new relationships, gain fresh insights and stay close to market dynamics.

How does iGB Affiliate contribute to your business, what do you gain from participating in the event and what does success look like?

For Gentoo Media, it's first and foremost an opportunity to connect with our partners and peers. It's about maintaining strong relationships, building new ones, and staying close to what's happening in the industry. When we share experiences and gain new perspectives from others in the business, we move forward. We always come back from iGB Affiliate with new ideas and perspectives on the industry -'along with a clearer view of the trends and developments that may shape it in the time ahead.

Taking place at the beginning of the year do you think iGB Affiliate will set the tone for the remainder of 2026. Do you think it has the ability to get the year off to a positive and confident start?

iGB Affiliate can help set the tone for 2026 by giving us a good opportunity to reconnect with partners and build new relationships. It's also a chance for more operators to get to know what we do - the quality of our websites and campaigns, and how we help them reach new players. We're looking forward to what 2026 brings and hope to see that same sense of momentum reflected at the conference.

How would you describe the experience that iGB Affiliate delivers for visitors and exhibitors?

It's an event where people come together to share ideas and connect across the industry. Visitors gain fresh insights, and exhibitors get a chance to showcase their work, receive feedback, and stay close to what the market is asking for. The scale of the conference, and the mix of both established companies and newer entrants to the industry, makes it a good setting for forming new relationships and getting a read on where things are heading.

The 2026 edition of iGB Affiliate will be 19% bigger than in 2025 ' how important is it to have a healthy and growing exhibition to participate in?
The industry is expanding, and it's only natural that a well-established event like iGB Affiliate grows with it. That growth brings more people to the table and creates room for new conversations, connections and ideas, all of which benefit those of us working in iGaming.

In your opinion what are the main trends impacting the industry?
The importance of brand stands out to us. Players are becoming more informed and more selective in how they choose where to play. That's where strong brands have a real advantage. Platforms like AskGamblers perform best when we genuinely help users make better choices by focusing on transparency, fair rankings, real player feedback and highlighting safe, high-quality operators.

What are the most promising emerging markets and what opportunities do they present?
The newly regulated Brazilian market remains a major opportunity, and we are only at the beginning of what it could become. We also see continued momentum across Latin America more broadly, as digital adoption and regulation move in the right direction. North America is picking up again for us too, and while Europe is a more mature region, it still offers solid growth for strong brands that focus on product quality and long-term compliance.

In your opinion how is AI impacting/transforming the industry?
AI is changing how we work. It supports efficiency, development and better decision-making in many areas. But it can never replace the thinking, creativity and sound judgement we rely on from all the good people who work at Gentoo Media.

What are you most looking forward to from participating in and being a part of iGB Affiliate 2026?

I'm looking forward to reconnecting with partners and peers, and having the kinds of conversations that spark new ideas and perspectives. Events like this are a good opportunity to see the industry come together, share insights, challenge our thinking and explore new ways to move forward. Collaboration has always been a big part of our success, and iGB Affiliate is a great setting to strengthen those relationships and build new ones.
