DARK DAY > NO CONSTRUCTION OR VEHICLE MOVEMENT

As a result of the crossover with ICE 2026, we will have an additional Dark day on Monday 20th January. There will be no vehicle access on this day; only pedestrian. All construction must still be completed on Sunday 19th January; Monday 20th will be for dressing, cleaning etc only.

Space only stand construction must be completed by 22:00 on Sunday 19th January 2025. No construction work refers to building, cutting, sawing, painting etc. There will be NO VEHICLE ACCESS on Monday 20th January – only pedestrian. This day will be for dressing, cleaning only and for gangway carpets to go down.

MANDATORY WASTE REMOVAL

It is compulsory for the exhibitor or the stand builder to order a pre-determined amount of waste control services in advance of arriving onsite. Unmanaged waste will no longer be permitted.

  • Safety and Accessibility: The gangways at our shows have become overly obstructed, increasing the risk of accidents during the build phase.  Unmanaged waste poses a number of safety risks, including injury, increased threat of fire, blocks fire exits and hinders access for medical teams in emergencies.

  • Stakeholder Feedback: Stakeholder feedback has told us that unmanaged waste causes congested aisles, unsatisfactory working conditions and delays to stands being constructed.

  • Environmental Efficiency: Fira has the capability to manage and separate waste in a more environmentally efficient way, aligning with our sustainability goals.

  • Measuring Impact: We aim to measure our environmental impact more closely to enhance the sustainability of our shows and we are only able to do this if we have a better insight on what is actually disposed of.

NOISE

We want to emphasize the importance of this matter, driven by feedback we've received from previous shows and events. While we permit music on stands, we, as the organizers, will be rigorously monitoring the levels of music and noise within the exhibition halls. The noise limit will be strictly enforced at 80dB. This measure is essential to ensure the utmost comfort of all attendees, enabling everyone to conduct meetings without disruption throughout the entire show. For comprehensive details on this topic, please consult the 'Noise' section in the Show Information section or refer to the Exhibitor Technical Manual's Health and Safety Pages for further insights
