Lee McFarland is the founder of Behind The Gloves, a boxing-led wellbeing and fundraising initiative built around courage, community and impact. A British Army veteran who served with 1 PARA in Iraq and Afghanistan, Lee brings his experiences of service, resilience and teamwork to his work connecting people through boxing. Drawing on his career in the gaming industry, Lee created Behind The Gloves to bring people together, support wellbeing and raise money for causes that matter. Its flagship event, Midnight Mayhem, sees industry professionals undertake six months of training before stepping into the ring for charities close to their hearts. Working alongside WBC Cares, Lee’s ambition is to turn the commitment inside the ring into meaningful impact beyond it.
